NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT due to the Coronavirus /COVID-19 Borough and State Directives all meetings of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Allenhurst will be held virtually until further notice. The next meeting is scheduled for September 22 2020 at 7:30 PM

Members of the Public are welcome to, and encouraged to, participate by observing / participating in the remote meetings. The meetings will be held via Zoom. You can access the meetings through the Zoom App via a smartphone or tablet, via a special link on your computer, or by telephone. For anyone interested in observing and / or otherwise participating, the instructions / directions are as follows:

Borough of Allenhurst Planning Board Meeting Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Regular Meeting of the Borough of Allenhurst Planning Board is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 7:30 p.m at the

ALLENHURST FIRE HOUSE, 318 Hume St Allenhurst NJ 07711. Action will be taken as appropriate.

With the utmost concern for the health and safety of the public and our municipal staff due to the potential spread of the COVOD-19 virus, it is necessary for the Borough of Allenhurst to take proactive measures. The health and safety of our community remains our number one priority. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times during the public meeting.

CONSTRUCTION OFFICE

CONSTRUCTION OFFICE - CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The State of New Jersey handles construction permits for the Borough. The State has a satellite office in Allenhurst Borough Hall, with hours on Thursdays from 8 AM to 12 Noon. Their local number is 732-531-2757 (choose option 9). Local Fax is 732-531-1281. They can be reached in Trenton at other times during the week at 609-567-3653. 

The Construction office can only be reached via phone during the current closure due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  There will be no in-person appointments.

CONSTRUCTION MORATORIUM

There is a moratorium on construction within the Borough from July 1 through Labor Day. Please call Borough Hall for information on applying for a waiver.
